We aim to provide positive lifestyle choices for people who are experiencing the effects of problem gambling. Individual appointments are available as well as support groups, family workshops, outreach groups and community engagement.
Our service is accessible to people who are from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), homeless, disadvantaged and deaf communities, and we can arrange interpreter services as required.
Our GambleAware service provides free counselling and treatment programs for problem gamblers who are experiencing social, financial and emotional difficulties and their families. We support people who are experiencing the effects of problem gambling to make positive lifestyle choices. We ensure that people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Homeless, Disadvantaged and Deaf communities are welcomed and have access to our service. We can also provide referrals for support services including mental health, legal, housing, and employment and training services as required.
Our team work with the family and friends of people experiencing problem gambling. We support them by providing information and understanding as to how they can support their loved one, we also share effective strategies for their own self-care.
Our GambleAware service provides free financial counselling for people experiencing financial problems due to the their gambling. This includes managing their financial stress, assistance to create manageable budgets and support to move towards financial stability.
We can provide referrals for financial counselling services, legal matters, housing assistance, employment and training and mental health services.
